One-fifth of Booty to the Cause of Allah (Khumus)

قَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُوقَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُنْذِرًا الثَّوْرِيَّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، قَالَ أَرْسَلَنِي أَبِي، خُذْ هَذَا الْكِتَابَ فَاذْهَبْ بِهِ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ، فَإِنَّ فِيهِ أَمْرَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الصَّدَقَةِ‏.‏

Rapporté par Muhammad bin Suqa : J'ai entendu Mundhir at-Tuzi rapporter d'Ibn Hanafiya qui a dit : « Mon père m'a envoyé en disant : Prends cette lettre et apporte-la à `Uthman, car elle contient les instructions du Prophète ﷺ concernant la Sadaqa. »
