Sahih al-Bukhari, 2924

Rapporté par Khalid bin Madan : ‘Umair bin Al-Aswad Al-Anasi lui a raconté qu’il est allé voir ‘Ubada bin As-Samit alors qu’il séjournait chez lui au bord de la mer à Hims avec sa femme Um Haram. ‘Umair a dit : Um Haram nous a informés qu’elle avait entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire : « Le Paradis est accordé au premier groupe de mes compagnons qui feront une expédition navale. » Um Haram a ajouté : J’ai dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Est-ce que je serai parmi eux ? » Il a répondu : « Tu es parmi eux. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a ensuite dit : « La première armée de mes compagnons qui attaquera la ville de César verra ses péchés pardonnés. » J’ai demandé : « Est-ce que je serai parmi eux, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ? » Il a répondu non

Narrated Khalid bin Madan:That 'Umair bin Al-Aswad Al-Ansi told him that he went to 'Ubada bin As-Samit while he was staying in his house at the sea-shore of Hims with (his wife) Um Haram. 'Umair said. Um Haram informed us that she heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Paradise is granted to the first batch of my followers who will undertake a naval expedition." Um Haram added, I said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Will I be amongst them?' He replied, 'You are amongst them.' The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, 'The first army amongst' my followers who will invade Caesar's City will be forgiven their sins.' I asked, 'Will I be one of them, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?' He replied in the negative
