Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad)

حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، كَتَبَ فَقَرَأْتُهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِذَا لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فَاصْبِرُوا ‏"‏‏.‏

Rapporté par Salim Abu-An-Nadr : `Abdullah bin Abi `Aufa a écrit et j’ai lu ce qu’il avait écrit : le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Lorsque vous faites face à eux (c’est-à-dire à vos ennemis), alors soyez patients. »
