Sahih al-Bukhari, 2821

Rapporté par Muhammad bin Jubair : Jubair bin Mut`im m’a raconté que, lorsqu’il était avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et d’autres personnes revenant de Hunain, certains bédouins ont attrapé le Prophète (ﷺ) et se sont mis à lui demander des choses au point qu’il a dû s’arrêter sous un arbre épineux (samurah) et qu’on lui a arraché son manteau. Le Prophète (ﷺ) s’est arrêté et a dit : « Rendez-moi mon manteau. Si j’avais autant de chameaux que ces arbres épineux, je vous les aurais tous donnés, et vous ne me trouverez jamais avare, menteur ou lâche. »

Narrated Muhammad bin Jubair:Jubair bin Mut`im told me that while he was in the company of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) with the people returning from Hunain, some people (bedouins) caught hold of the Prophet (ﷺ) and started begging of him so much so that he had to stand under a (kind of thorny tree (i.e. Samurah) and his cloak was snatched away. The Prophet (ﷺ) stopped and said, "Give me my cloak. If I had as many camels as these thorny trees, I would have distributed them amongst you and you will not find me a miser or a liar or a coward
