Sahih al-Bukhari, 2599

Rapporté par Al-Miswar bin Makhrama : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a distribué des manteaux mais n’en a pas donné à Makhrama. Makhrama m’a dit : « Ô mon fils ! Accompagne-moi chez le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). » J’y suis allé avec lui, il a dit : « Appelle-le pour moi. » Je l’ai appelé (le Prophète (ﷺ)) pour mon père. Il est sorti en portant un de ces manteaux et a dit : « Nous avons gardé celui-ci (le manteau) pour toi, (Makhrama). » Makhrama a regardé le manteau et a dit : « Makhrama est content, » (ou le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit) : « Makhrama est-il content ? »

Narrated Al-Miswar bin Makhrama:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) distributed some cloaks but did not give anything thereof to Makhrama. Makhrama said (to me), "O son! accompany me to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)." When I went with him, he said, "Call him to me." I called him (i.e. the Prophet (ﷺ) ) for my father. He came out wearing one of those cloaks and said, "We kept this (cloak) for you, (Makhrama)." Makhrama looked at the cloak and said, "Makhrama is pleased," (or the Prophet (ﷺ) said), "Is Makhrama pleased?
