Sahih al-Bukhari, 2439

Rapporté par Abu Bakr : Alors que j’étais en route, j’ai soudain vu un berger qui conduisait ses moutons. Je lui ai demandé à qui il appartenait. Il a répondu qu’il était le serviteur d’un homme des Quraysh, puis il a mentionné son nom et je l’ai reconnu. J’ai demandé : « Tes moutons ont-ils du lait ? » Il a répondu oui. J’ai dit : « Peux-tu traire pour moi ? » Il a accepté. Je lui ai demandé d’attacher les pattes d’une des brebis, puis de nettoyer le pis de la poussière et de se nettoyer les mains. Il a enlevé la poussière de ses mains en les frappant l’une contre l’autre. Il a ensuite trait un peu de lait. J’ai mis le lait pour le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dans un récipient, j’en ai fermé l’ouverture avec un morceau de tissu et j’ai versé de l’eau dessus jusqu’à ce qu’il soit froid. Je l’ai apporté au Prophète (ﷺ) et j’ai dit : « Bois, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! » Il en a bu jusqu’à ce que je sois satisfait

Narrated Abu Bakr:While I was on my way, all of a sudden I saw a shepherd driving his sheep, I asked him whose servant he was. He replied that he was the servant of a man from Quraish, and then he mentioned his name and I recognized him. I asked, "Do your sheep have some milk?" He replied in the affirmative. I said, "Are you going to milk for me?" He replied in the affirmative. I ordered him and he tied the legs of one of the sheep. Then I told him to clean the udder (teats) of dust and to remove dust off his hands. He removed the dust off his hands by clapping his hands. He then milked a little milk. I put the milk for Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in a pot and closed its mouth with a piece of cloth and poured water over it till it became cold. I took it to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "Drink, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" He drank it till I was pleased
