Sahih al-Bukhari, 2393

Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Prophète (ﷺ) devait un chameau d’un certain âge à un homme qui est venu le réclamer. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a demandé à ses compagnons de lui donner un chameau. Ils ont cherché un chameau du même âge mais n’ont trouvé qu’un chameau d’un an de plus. Le Prophète (ﷺ) leur a dit de le lui donner. L’homme a dit : « Tu m’as bien remboursé, et qu’Allah te récompense pleinement. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Le meilleur d’entre vous est celui qui rembourse ses dettes de la plus belle manière. »

Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) owed a camel of a certain age to a man who came to demand it back. The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered his companions to give him. They looked for a camel of the same age but found nothing but a camel one year older. The Prophet (ﷺ) told them to give it to him. The man said, "You have paid me in full, and may Allah pay you in full." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best amongst you is he who pays his debts in the most handsome manner
