حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَحَرَّى صِيَامَ يَوْمٍ فَضَّلَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ، إِلاَّ هَذَا الْيَوْمَ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ وَهَذَا الشَّهْرَ‏.‏ يَعْنِي شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ‏.‏

Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : Je n’ai jamais vu le Prophète (ﷺ) chercher à jeûner un jour qu’il préférait plus qu’un autre, sauf ce jour-là, le jour de ‘Achoura, et ce mois-ci, c’est-à-dire le mois de Ramadan
