Sahih al-Bukhari, 1967

Rapporté par Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Ne jeûnez pas sans interruption jour et nuit (ne pratiquez pas Al-Wisal), et si l’un de vous veut jeûner sans interruption, qu’il continue seulement jusqu’au moment du Suhur. » Ils ont dit : « Mais tu pratiques Al-Wisal, ô Messager d’Allah ﷺ ! » Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Je ne suis pas comme vous ; pendant mon sommeil, j’ai Quelqu’un qui me nourrit et me donne à boire. »

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do not fast continuously day and night (practice Al-Wisal) and if anyone of you intends to fast continuously day and night, he should continue till the Suhur time." They said, "But you practice Al-Wisal, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I am not similar to you;. during my sleep I have One Who makes me eat and drink
