Sahih al-Bukhari, 1892

Rapporté par Ibn `Umar : Le Prophète (ﷺ) jeûnait le 10 Muharram (‘Achoura) et ordonnait (aux musulmans) de jeûner ce jour-là, mais quand le jeûne du mois de Ramadan a été prescrit, le jeûne de ‘Achoura a été abandonné. `Abdullah ne jeûnait ce jour-là que si cela coïncidait par hasard avec son jeûne habituel

Narrated Ibn `Umar:The Prophet (ﷺ) observed the fast on the 10th of Muharram ('Ashura), and ordered (Muslims) to fast on that day, but when the fasting of the month of Ramadan was prescribed, the fasting of the 'Ashura' was abandoned. `Abdullah did not use to fast on that day unless it coincided with his routine fasting by chance
