Sahih al-Bukhari, 1536

Rapporté par Safwan ibn Ya'la : Ya'la a dit à 'Umar : « Montre-moi le Prophète (ﷺ) lorsqu'il reçoit la révélation. » Pendant que le Prophète (ﷺ) était à Ji'rana avec certains de ses compagnons, une personne est venue demander : « Ô Messager d'Allah ! Quel est ton avis sur une personne qui entre en état d'Ihram pour la `Umra et qui a mis du parfum ? » Le Prophète (ﷺ) est resté silencieux un moment, puis il a reçu la révélation. 'Umar a fait signe à Ya'la, qui est venu voir. Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) était couvert d'un drap. Ya'la a passé la tête et a vu que le visage du Prophète (ﷺ) était rouge et qu'il respirait fort. Quand cela s'est terminé, le Prophète (ﷺ) a demandé : « Où est la personne qui a posé la question sur la `Umra ? » On l'a amenée et le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Lave le parfum de ton corps trois fois, enlève le manteau et fais pour la `Umra comme tu fais pour le Hajj. »

Narrated Safwan bin Ya'la:Ya'la said to 'Umar, "Show me the Prophet (ﷺ) when he is being inspired Divinely." While the Prophet (ﷺ) was at Ji'rana (in the company of some of his Companions) a person came and asked, "O Allah's Messenger! What is your verdict regarding that person who assumes Ihram for 'Umra and is scented with perfume ?" The Prophet (ﷺ) kept quiet for a while and he was Divinely inspired (then). 'Umar beckoned Ya'la. So he came, and the Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was shaded with sheet. Ya'la put his head in and saw that the face of Allah's Messenger was red and he was snoring. When the state of the Prophet (ﷺ) was over, he (ﷺ) asked, "Where is the person who asked about 'Umra?" Then that person was brought and the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Wash the perfume off your body thrice and take off the cloak and do the same in 'Umra as you do in Hajj
