Sahih al-Bukhari, 1223

Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Les gens disent que je rapporte trop de paroles du Prophète. Un jour, j’ai rencontré un homme (du vivant du Prophète) et je lui ai demandé : « Quelle sourate le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a-t-il récitée hier lors de la prière du `Isha ? » Il a répondu : « Je ne sais pas. » Je lui ai dit : « N’as-tu pas assisté à la prière ? » Il a dit : « Si. » Je lui ai dit : « Je sais. Il a récité telle ou telle sourate. »

Narrated Abu Huraira:People say that I narrate too many narrations of the Prophet; once I met a man (during the lifetime of the Prophet) and asked him, "Which Sura did Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) recite yesterday in the `Isha' prayer?" He said, "I do not know." I said, "Did you not attend the prayer?" He said, "Yes, (I did)." I said, "I know. He recited such and such Sura
