Shortening the Prayers (At-Taqseer)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ الظُّهْرَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا، وَبِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ.
Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : J’ai accompli quatre rak‘at de la prière du Zuhr avec le Prophète (paix et bénédictions sur lui) à Médine et deux rak‘at à Dhul-Hulaifa (c’est-à-dire qu’il a raccourci la prière de ‘Asr)Narrated Anas bin Malik: I offered four rak`at of Zuhr prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ) at Medina and two rak`at at Dhul-Hulaifa.
