Sunan Abi Dawud, 964

Rapporté par Muhammad b. ‘Amr b. ‘Ata’ alors qu’il était assis avec quelques compagnons du Messager d’Allah ﷺ : Il a ensuite rapporté sa tradition, sans mentionner le nom d’Abu Qatadah. Il a dit : Lorsque le Prophète ﷺ s’asseyait après deux unités de prière, il s’asseyait sur son pied gauche ; et lorsqu’il s’asseyait après la dernière unité, il allongeait son pied gauche et s’asseyait sur sa hanche

Muhammad b. ‘Amr b.’Ata’ was sitting in the company of a few Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He then narrated his tradition, but he did not mention the name of Abu Qatadah. He said:When he( the Prophet) sat up the two rak’ahs he sat on his left foot; and when sat up after the last rak’ah he put out his left foot and sat on his hip
