حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ الدَّيْلَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَانَتِ الْيَهُودُ تَعَاطَسُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجَاءَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهَا يَرْحَمُكُمُ اللَّهُ فَكَانَ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Rapporté par Abu Burdah : Les Juifs essayaient d’éternuer en présence du Prophète ﷺ en espérant qu’il leur dise : « Qu’Allah vous fasse miséricorde ! » Mais il disait plutôt : « Qu’Allah vous guide et vous accorde la santé. »

Narrated AbuBurdah: The Jews used to try to sneezes in the presence of the Prophet (ﷺ) hoping that he would say to them: "Allah have mercy on you!" but he would say: May Allah guide you and grant you well-being
