Sunan Abi Dawud, 4983

Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Lorsque vous entendez… (La version de Moussa dit) : Quand un homme dit : “Les gens sont perdus”, c’est lui qui l’est le plus. » Abu Dawud a dit : Malik a dit : « S’il dit cela par tristesse devant la dégradation de la religion qu’il voit chez les gens, je ne pense pas qu’il y ait du mal à cela. Mais s’il le dit par orgueil ou mépris envers les gens, c’est un acte blâmable qui a été interdit. »

Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: When you hear....(Musa's version has): When a man says people have perished, he is the one who has suffered that fate most. Abu Dawud said: Malik said: If he says that out of sadness for the decadence of religion which he sees among the people, I do not think there is any harm in that. If he says that out of self-conceit and servility of the people, it is an abominable act which has been prohibited
