Sunan Abi Dawud, 4604

Rapporté par Al-Miqdam ibn Ma'dikarib : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Attention ! On m’a donné le Coran et quelque chose de semblable. Mais viendra un temps où un homme, confortablement installé sur son canapé, dira : “Tenez-vous-en au Coran ; ce que vous y trouvez permis, considérez-le comme permis, et ce que vous y trouvez interdit, considérez-le comme interdit.” Attention ! L’âne domestique, les bêtes de proie à crocs, et un objet trouvé appartenant à un allié – sauf si son propriétaire n’en veut plus – ne vous sont pas permis. Si quelqu’un arrive chez des gens, ils doivent l’accueillir ; s’ils ne le font pas, il a le droit de leur réclamer de quoi subvenir à son hospitalité. »

Narrated Al-Miqdam ibn Ma'dikarib: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Beware! I have been given the Qur'an and something like it, yet the time is coming when a man replete on his couch will say: Keep to the Qur'an; what you find in it to be permissible treat as permissible, and what you find in it to be prohibited treat as prohibited. Beware! The domestic ass, beasts of prey with fangs, a find belonging to confederate, unless its owner does not want it, are not permissible to you If anyone comes to some people, they must entertain him, but if they do not, he has a right to mulct them to an amount equivalent to his entertainment
