Sunan Abi Dawud, 4495

Rapporté par Abu Rimthah رضي الله عنه : Je suis allé voir le Prophète ﷺ avec mon père. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a alors demandé à mon père : « Est-ce ton fils ? » Il a répondu : « Oui, par le Seigneur de la Ka’bah. » Il a encore demandé : « Est-ce vrai ? » Il a dit : « J’en témoigne. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a alors souri à cause de ma ressemblance avec mon père, et parce que mon père a prêté serment sur moi. Il a ensuite dit : « Il ne t’apportera pas de mal, et tu ne lui apporteras pas de mal. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a récité le verset : « Nul ne portera le fardeau d’autrui. »

Narrated AbuRimthah: I went to the Prophet (ﷺ) with my father. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then asked my father: Is this your son? He replied: Yes, by the Lord of the Ka'bah. He again said: Is it true? He said: I bear witness to it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then smiled for my resemblance with my father, and for the fact that my father took an oath upon me. He then said: He will not bring evil on you, nor will you bring evil on him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited the verse: "No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another
