Sunan Abi Dawud, 3799

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Umar رضي الله عنه : Numaylah a dit : J’étais avec Ibn Umar. On lui a demandé au sujet de la consommation du hérisson. Il a récité : « Dis : Je ne trouve rien dans ce qui m’a été révélé qui soit interdit... » Un vieil homme qui était avec lui a dit : J’ai entendu Abu Hurayrah dire : « On en a parlé au Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Il a dit : “C’est nuisible parmi les nuisibles.” » Ibn Umar a dit : « Si le Messager d’Allah ﷺ l’a dit, alors c’est comme il l’a dit, mais nous ne le savions pas. »

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: Numaylah said: I was with Ibn Umar. He was asked about eating hedgehog. He recited: "Say: I find not in the message received by me by inspiration any (meat) forbidden."
