Sunan Abi Dawud, 3233

Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Des gens sont passés devant le Messager d’Allah ﷺ avec un cercueil. Les compagnons ont parlé en bien de lui. Il a dit : « Le Paradis lui est assuré. » Ensuite, d’autres sont passés avec un autre cercueil. Ils ont parlé très mal de lui. Il a dit : « L’Enfer lui est assuré. » Puis il a ajouté : « Certains d’entre vous sont témoins des autres. »

Narrated AbuHurayrah: People with a bier passed by the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). They (the companions) spoke highly of him. He said: Paradise is certain for him. Then some people with another (bier) passed by him. They spoke very badly of him. He said: Hell is certain for him. He then said: Some of you are witness to others
