Sunan Abi Dawud, 293

Rapporté par Zaynab, fille d’AbuSalamah رضي الله عنها : AbuSalamah a dit : Zaynab, fille d’AbuSalamah, m’a rapporté qu’une femme avait un écoulement de sang abondant. Elle était l’épouse d’AbdurRahman ibn Awf. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui a ordonné de prendre un bain à chaque prière, puis de prier. Il m’a rapporté qu’Umm Bakr lui a dit qu’Aisha a dit : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit à propos d’une femme qui doutait de ses règles après purification que c’était une veine ou des veines. Abu Dawud a dit : Les deux solutions (entre lesquelles le Prophète a laissé le choix) étaient les suivantes dans la version rapportée par Ibn 'Aqil : Il a dit : « Si tu en es capable, alors prends un bain pour chaque prière ; sinon, regroupe les deux prières, comme al-Qasim l’a rapporté dans sa version. » Cette parole a aussi été rapportée par Sa'id b. Jubair d’Ali et d’Ibn 'Abbas

Narrated Zaynab daughter of AbuSalamah: AbuSalamah said: Zaynab daughter of AbuSalamah reported to me that a woman had a copious flow of blood. She was the wife of AbdurRahman ibn Awf. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded her to take a bath at the time of every prayer, and then to pray. He reported to me that Umm Bakr told him that Aisha said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said about a woman who was doubtful of her menstruation after purification that it was a vein or veins. Abu Dawud said: The two commands (of which the Prophet gave option) were as follows in the version reported by Ibn 'Aqil: He said: If you are strong enough, then take a bath for every prayer; otherwise combine the (two prayers), as al-Qasim reported in his version. This statement was also narrated by Sa'id b. Jubair from 'Ali and Ibn 'Abbas
