Sunan Abi Dawud, 2899

Rapporté par Al-Miqdam al-Kindi رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Si quelqu’un laisse une dette ou une famille démunie, j’en prends la responsabilité – et parfois le rapporteur a dit : Allah et Son Messager en prendront la responsabilité – mais si quelqu’un laisse des biens, ils reviennent à ses héritiers. Je suis l’héritier de celui qui n’a pas d’héritier, je paie le prix du sang pour lui et j’hérite de lui ; et l’oncle maternel est l’héritier de celui qui n’a pas d’héritier, il paie le prix du sang pour lui et hérite de lui. »

Narrated Al-Miqdam al-Kindi: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If anyone leaves a debt or a helpless family I shall be responsible-and sometimes the narrator said: Allah and His Apostle will be responsible-but if anyone leaves property, it goes to his heirs. I am the heirs of him who has none, paying blood-wit for him and inheriting from him; and a maternal uncle is the heir of him who has none, paying blood-wit for him and inheriting from him
