Sunan Abi Dawud, 2789

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-‘As : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « On m’a ordonné de célébrer la fête (‘Id) le jour du sacrifice, qu’Allah, le Très-Haut, a fixé pour cette communauté. » Un homme a demandé : « Si je ne trouve qu’une chèvre ou une chamelle empruntée pour le lait ou d’autres usages, dois-je la sacrifier ? » Il a répondu : « Non, mais coupe tes cheveux et tes ongles, taille ta moustache et rase tes parties intimes. Cela compte comme ton sacrifice auprès d’Allah, le Très-Haut. »

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: I have been commanded to celebrate festival ('Id) on the day of sacrifice, which Allah, Most High, has appointed for this community. A man said: If I do not find except a she-goat or a she-camel borrowed for milk or other benefits, should I sacrifice it? He said: No, but you should clip your hair , and nails, trim your moustaches, and shave your pubes. This is all your sacrifice in the eyes of Allah, Most High
