Sunan Abi Dawud, 2780

Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Un jeune homme d’Aslam a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah ﷺ, je voudrais partir en expédition mais je n’ai rien pour m’équiper. » Il lui a dit : « Va voir untel parmi les Ansar, qui avait préparé de l’équipement pour la bataille mais qui est tombé malade, et dis-lui que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ te transmet ses salutations. Puis dis-lui : “Donne-lui tout l’équipement que tu as préparé.” » Le jeune homme est allé lui transmettre ce message. L’Ansari a dit à sa femme : « Ô untelle, donne-lui tout l’équipement que j’ai préparé et ne garde rien pour toi. Par Allah, si tu caches quelque chose, Allah n’y mettra pas Sa bénédiction. »

Anas bin Malik said “A youth of Aslam said “Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ), I wish to go on an expedition, but I have no property to make myself equipped. He said “go to so and so Ansari who prepared equipment(for the battle), but he fell ill and tell him that the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) has conveyed his regards to you, and then tell him “Give him all the equipment you have made. He came to him and told him that. He said to his wife “O so and so, give him all the equipment I have made and do not detain anything from him. I swear by Allaah, if you detain anything from him, Allaah will not bless it
