La tradition mentionnée ci-dessus a aussi été rapportée par Al Zuhri par une chaîne différente de transmetteurs. Dans cette version, elle a dit : « Quand il était à la porte de la mosquée près de la porte d’Umm Salamah, deux hommes sont passés près d’eux. » Le narrateur a ensuite transmis la tradition dans le même sens
