Sunan Abi Dawud, 2136

Rapporté par Aïsha رضي الله عنها : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ nous demandait la permission le jour où il devait rester avec l’une de ses épouses (à tour de rôle) après la révélation du verset coranique : « Tu peux éloigner celles que tu veux et rapprocher celles que tu veux » [33:51]. La narratrice Mu’adhah a dit : Je lui ai demandé : « Qu’as-tu répondu au Messager d’Allah ﷺ ? » Elle a dit : « Je disais : Si j’avais eu le choix, je n’aurais préféré personne à moi-même. »

Narrated 'Aishah:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to aske our permission on the day he had to stay with one of his wives (by turns) after the following Qur'anic verse was revealed: "You may distance those whom you like, and draw close to those whom you like" [33:51]. The narrator Mu'adhah said: I said to her: What did you say to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ? She said: I used to say: If had an option for that, I would not preferred anyone to myself
