Sunan Abi Dawud, 2004

Al-Harith ibn Abdullah ibn Aws a dit : Je suis allé voir Omar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه et je lui ai demandé au sujet d’une femme qui a accompli le tawaf obligatoire le jour du sacrifice, puis qui a eu ses règles. Il a répondu : « Elle doit faire le dernier tawaf autour de la Ka’bah. » Al-Harith a dit : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ m’a dit la même chose. Omar a dit : « Que tes mains périssent ! Tu m’as interrogé sur quelque chose que tu avais déjà demandé au Messager d’Allah ﷺ, juste pour que je lui contredise. »

Al-Harith ibn Abdullah ibn Aws said:I came to Umar ibn al-Khattab and asked him about a woman who has performed the (obligatory) circumambulation on the day of sacrifice, and then she menstruates. He said: She must perform the last circumambulation of the House (the Ka'bah). Al-Harith said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) told me the same thing. Umar said: May your hands fall down! You asked me about a thing that you had asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) so that I might oppose him
