Sunan Abi Dawud, 1669

Buhaysah a rapporté d’après son père رضي الله عنه : Mon père a demandé la permission au Prophète ﷺ. (Quand il a été autorisé à s’approcher), il a soulevé sa chemise et a commencé à l’embrasser et à l’enlacer (par amour pour lui). Il a demandé : « Messager d’Allah, quelle est la chose qu’il est interdit de refuser ? » Il a répondu : « L’eau. » Il a redemandé : « Prophète d’Allah, quelle est la chose qu’il est interdit de refuser ? » Il a répondu : « Le sel. » Il a encore demandé : « Prophète d’Allah, quelle est la chose qu’il est interdit de refuser ? » Il a dit : « Faire le bien est encore meilleur pour toi. »

Buhaysah reported on the authority of his father:My father sought permission from the Prophet (ﷺ). (When permission was granted and he came near him) he lifted his shirt, and began to kiss him and embrace him (out of love for him). He asked: Messenger of Allah, what is the thing which it is unlawful to refuse? He replied: Water. He again asked: Prophet of Allah, what is the thing which it is unlawful to refuse? He replied: Salt. He again asked: Prophet of Allah, what is the thing which it is unlawful to refuse? He said: To do good is better for you
