Sunan Abi Dawud, 1498

Rapporté par Omar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه alors qu’il demandait la permission au Prophète ﷺ pour accomplir la ‘umrah : Il m’a donné la permission et a dit : « Mon petit frère, n’oublie pas de me mentionner dans tes invocations. » Omar a dit : « Il m’a dit une parole qui m’a tellement réjoui que je n’aurais pas été plus heureux si on m’avait donné tout ce qu’il y a sur terre. » Le rapporteur Shu’bah a dit : J’ai ensuite rencontré Asim à Médine. Il m’a raconté cette tradition et a rapporté ces mots : « Mon petit frère, associe-moi à tes invocations. »

Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab: I sought permission of the Prophet (ﷺ) to perform umrah. He gave me permission and said: My younger brother, do not forget me in your supplication. He (Umar) said: He told me a word that pleased me so much so that I would not have been pleased if I were given the whole world. The narrator Shu'bah said: I then met Asim at Medina. He narrated to me this tradition and reported the wordings: "My younger brother, share me in your supplication
