Sunan Abi Dawud, 1284

Rapporté par Tawus : On a demandé à Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه au sujet de la prière de deux rak‘as avant la prière du Maghrib. Il a répondu : « Je n’ai vu personne les accomplir à l’époque du Messager d’Allah ﷺ. » (Ibn ‘Umar) a permis de prier deux rak‘as après la prière du ‘Asr. Abu Dawud a dit : J’ai entendu Yahya ibn Ma‘in dire : Le nom correct du rapporteur Abu Shu‘aib est Shu‘aib. Shu‘bah s’est trompé en rapportant son nom

Narrated Tawus: Ibn 'Umar was asked about praying two rak'ahs before the Maghrib prayer. He replied: I did not see anyone praying them during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He (Ibn Umar) permitted to pray two rak'ahs after the Asr prayer. Abu Dawud said: I heard Yahya b. Ma'in say: The correct name of the narrator Abu Shu'aib is the Shu'aib. Shu'bah made a mistake in narrating his name
