سُوْرَةُ الْمُرْسَلَاتِ

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًا ﴿١﴾

77:1By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًا ﴿٢﴾

77:2And the winds that blow violently

وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا ﴿٣﴾

77:3And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًا ﴿٤﴾

77:4And those [angels] who bring criterion

فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا ﴿٥﴾

77:5And those [angels] who deliver a message

عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا ﴿٦﴾

77:6As justification or warning,

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ ﴿٧﴾

77:7Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.

فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ ﴿٨﴾

77:8So when the stars are obliterated

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ ﴿٩﴾

77:9And when the heaven is opened

وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ ﴿١٠﴾

77:10And when the mountains are blown away

وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ ﴿١١﴾

77:11And when the messengers' time has come...

لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ ﴿١٢﴾

77:12For what Day was it postponed?

لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ ﴿١٣﴾

77:13For the Day of Judgement.

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ﴿١٤﴾

77:14And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿١٥﴾

77:15Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿١٦﴾

77:16Did We not destroy the former peoples?

ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ ﴿١٧﴾

77:17Then We will follow them with the later ones.

كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ﴿١٨﴾

77:18Thus do We deal with the criminals.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿١٩﴾

77:19Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ ﴿٢٠﴾

77:20Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?

فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ ﴿٢١﴾

77:21And We placed it in a firm lodging

إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ ﴿٢٢﴾

77:22For a known extent.

فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

77:23And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٢٤﴾

77:24Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا ﴿٢٥﴾

77:25Have We not made the earth a container

أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا ﴿٢٦﴾

77:26Of the living and the dead?

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا ﴿٢٧﴾

77:27And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٢٨﴾

77:28Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٢٩﴾

77:29[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍ ﴿٣٠﴾

77:30Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ﴿٣١﴾

77:31[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame."

إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ ﴿٣٢﴾

77:32Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,

كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ ﴿٣٣﴾

77:33As if they were yellowish [black] camels.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٣٤﴾

77:34Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾

77:35This is a Day they will not speak,

وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ ﴿٣٦﴾

77:36Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٣٧﴾

77:37Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿٣٨﴾

77:38This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ ﴿٣٩﴾

77:39So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٠﴾

77:40Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ ﴿٤١﴾

77:41Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ﴿٤٢﴾

77:42And fruits from whatever they desire,

كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٤٣﴾

77:43[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿٤٤﴾

77:44Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٥﴾

77:45Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ ﴿٤٦﴾

77:46[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٧﴾

77:47Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ ﴿٤٨﴾

77:48And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow.

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٩﴾

77:49Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿٥٠﴾

77:50Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe?
