Sunan an-Nasa'i, 984

It was narrated that Jabir said:"A man from among the Ansar passed Mu'adh leading two camels, when he (Mu'adh) was praying maghrib, and he was starting to recite Al-Baqarah. So that man prayed then went away. News of that reached the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: 'Do you want to cause hardship to the people, O Mu'adh; do you want to cause hardship to the people, O Mu'adh? Why don't you recite: 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High' and 'By the sun and its brightness' and the like?

Rapporté par Jabir : Un homme parmi les Ansar est passé devant Mu’adh qui dirigeait la prière du maghrib, alors qu’il commençait à réciter Al-Baqarah. Cet homme a donc prié puis est parti. La nouvelle est parvenue au Prophète (ﷺ) qui a dit : « Veux-tu rendre les choses difficiles pour les gens, ô Mu’adh ? Veux-tu rendre les choses difficiles pour les gens, ô Mu’adh ? Pourquoi ne récites-tu pas : “Glorifie le nom de ton Seigneur, le Très-Haut” et “Par le soleil et sa clarté” et des sourates semblables ? »
