Sunan an-Nasa'i, 850

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"A blind man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)and said: 'I do not have a guide to bring me to the prayer.' And he asked him to grant him a dispensation allowing him to pray in his house, and he gave him permission. Then when he turned away he said to him: 'Can you hear the call to prayer?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then respond to it

Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Un homme aveugle est venu voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et lui a dit : "Je n’ai personne pour me guider jusqu’à la prière." Il lui a alors demandé la permission de prier chez lui, et le Prophète la lui a accordée. Mais au moment où il s’en allait, il lui a dit : "Entends-tu l’appel à la prière ?" Il a répondu : "Oui."
