Al-Aswad bin Shaiban As-Sadusi said:"I heard 'Ata' being asked by a man: 'We travel and drinks are offered to us in the marketplaces, and we do not know what kind of vessels they were prepared in.' Rapporté par Al-Aswad bin Shaiban As-Sadusi : « J’ai entendu ‘Ata’ être interrogé par un homme : “Nous voyageons et on nous propose des boissons dans les marchés, et nous ne savons pas dans quels récipients elles ont été préparées.” Il a répondu : “Toute boisson enivrante est interdite.” L’homme a répété la question et il a dit : “Toute boisson enivrante est interdite.” Il a encore répété la question et il a dit : “C’est comme je te l’ai dit.” »
