Sunan an-Nasa'i, 5535

It was narrated that 'Asim bin Humaid said:"I asked 'Aishah with what the Messenger of Allah [SAW] would start Qiyam Al-Lail. She said: 'You have asked me about something that no one else has asked me about. He used to say Allahu Akbar ten times, and Subhan-Allah ten times, and Istaghfir-Allah ten times, and he would say, Allahummaghfirli, wahdini, warzuqni, wa'afini (O Allah, forgive me, guide me, grant me provision and give me good health,) and he would seek refuge from the difficulty of the standing on the Day of Resurrection

Rapporté par 'Asim bin Humaid : J’ai demandé à 'Aishah رضي الله عنها par quoi le Messager d’Allah ﷺ commençait la prière de nuit. Elle a répondu : "Tu m’as posé une question que personne d’autre ne m’a posée. Il disait Allahu Akbar dix fois, Subhan-Allah dix fois, Istaghfir-Allah dix fois, puis il disait : Allahummaghfirli, wahdini, warzuqni, wa'afini." (Ô Allah, pardonne-moi, guide-moi, accorde-moi ma subsistance et donne-moi la santé.) Il demandait aussi la protection contre la difficulté du Jour de la Résurrection
