Sunan an-Nasa'i, 5501

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"When the Messenger of Allah [SAW] traveled and rode his mount, he gestured with his finger - and Shu'bah (one of the narrators) stretched out his finger - and said: 'Allahumma, antas-sahibu fis-safari wal-khalifatu fil-ahli wal-mal. Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safari, wa kabatil-munqalabi (O Allah, You are our help when we are traveling and the One Who takes care of our families and wealth (in our absence). O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel and the sorrows of return

Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Lorsque le Messager d'Allah ﷺ voyageait et montait sa monture, il faisait un geste avec son doigt – et Shu'bah (un des rapporteurs) a tendu son doigt – et il disait : "Allahumma, antas-sahibu fis-safari wal-khalifatu fil-ahli wal-mal. Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safari, wa kabatil-munqalabi." (Ô Allah, Tu es notre compagnon pendant le voyage et Celui qui veille sur nos familles et nos biens en notre absence. Ô Allah, je cherche Ta protection contre les difficultés du voyage et la tristesse du retour)
