Sunan an-Nasa'i, 5358

It was narrated that An-Nadr bin Anas said:"I was sitting with Ibn 'Abbas when a man from among the people of Al-'Iraq came to him and said: 'I make these images; what do you say concerning them?' He said: 'Come closer, come closer. I heard Muhammad [SAW] say: Whoever makes an image in this world will be commanded on the Day of Resurrection to breathe a soul into it, and he will not be able to do so

Rapporté par An-Nadr bin Anas : J’étais assis avec Ibn 'Abbas lorsqu’un homme du peuple d’Al-'Irak est venu vers lui et a dit : "Je fais ces images ; qu’en dis-tu ?" Il a répondu : "Approche, approche. J’ai entendu Muhammad ﷺ dire : Quiconque fait une image dans ce monde devra, au Jour de la Résurrection, lui insuffler une âme, mais il ne pourra pas le faire
