Sunan an-Nasa'i, 5091

It was narrated from Abu Al-Husain Al-Haitham bin Shufayy that he said:"A friend of mine who was called Abu 'Amir, from Al-Ma'afir, and I went out to pray in Jerusalem. Their preacher was a man from (the tribe of) Azd who was called Abu Raihanah, one of the Companions." Abu Al-Husain said: "My companion reached the Masjid before I did, then I caught up with him, and sat beside him. He said: 'Have you heard the preaching of Abu Raihanah?' I said: 'No.' He said: 'I heard him say: 'The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade ten things: Filing (the teeth), tattoos, plucking (hair), for two men to lie under one cover with no barrier between them, for two women to lie under one cover with no barrier between them, for a man to add more than four fingers' width of silk to the bottom of his garment like the foreigners (Persians), (and he forbade) plundering, riding (while sitting on) leopard skins and wearing rings- except for rulers

Rapporté par Abu Al-Husain Al-Haitham bin Shufayy : Un de mes amis, appelé Abu 'Amir d'Al-Ma'afir, et moi sommes allés prier à Jérusalem. Leur prêcheur était un homme de la tribu d'Azd, appelé Abu Raihanah, un des Compagnons. Abu Al-Husain a dit : Mon compagnon est arrivé à la mosquée avant moi, puis je l'ai rejoint et je me suis assis à côté de lui. Il m'a dit : « As-tu entendu le sermon d'Abu Raihanah ? » J'ai répondu : « Non. » Il a dit : « Je l'ai entendu dire : Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a interdit dix choses : limer les dents, les tatouages, l'épilation, que deux hommes dorment sous la même couverture sans séparation, que deux femmes dorment sous la même couverture sans séparation, qu'un homme ajoute plus de quatre doigts de largeur de soie au bas de son vêtement comme les étrangers (Perses), le pillage, s'asseoir sur des peaux de léopard et porter des bagues — sauf pour les dirigeants. »
