The Book of Cutting off the Hand of the Thief

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَطَعَ فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلاَثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:the Messenger of Allah cut off (a thief's hand) for a shield which cost three Dirhams

Rapporté par Ibn 'Umar : Le Messager d'Allah a coupé la main d’un voleur pour un bouclier qui coûtait trois dirhams
