Sunan an-Nasa'i, 4615

Ibn Abi Al-Mujalid-on one occasion he (the narrator) said 'Abdullah, and on another occasion he said Muhammad - said:"Abu Burdah and 'Abdullah bin Shaddad argued about payment in advance. They sent me to Ibn Abi Awfa and I asked him (about that). He said: 'We used to pay in advance during the time of the Messenger of Allah and Abu Bakr and 'Umar, for wheat, barley, raisins and dates, paying people whom we did not see it with them." And I asked Ibn Abza and he said something similar to that

Rapporté par Ibn Abi Al-Mujalid (parfois il a dit 'Abdullah, parfois Muhammad) : "Abu Burdah et 'Abdullah bin Shaddad se sont disputés au sujet du paiement anticipé. Ils m'ont envoyé voir Ibn Abi Awfa et je l'ai interrogé à ce sujet. Il a dit : 'Nous payions à l'avance à l'époque du Messager d'Allah, d'Abu Bakr et de 'Umar, pour du blé, de l'orge, des raisins secs et des dattes, à des gens chez qui nous ne voyions pas ces produits.'
