Sunan an-Nasa'i, 4267

It was narrated that 'Adiyy bin Hatim said:"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I release my trained dogs and they catch (game) for me; can I eat It? He said: 'When you release your trained dogs and they catch (game) for you, then eat.' I said: 'Even if they kill it.' He said: 'So long as no other dogs have joined them." I said: 'I shoot with the Mirad. And they penetrate (the game).' He said 'If they penetrate it, then eat, but if the broad said strikes it, then do not eat

Rapporté par 'Adiyy bin Hatim : J’ai dit : "Ô Messager d’Allah, je lâche mes chiens dressés et ils attrapent une proie pour moi ; puis-je la manger ?" Il a dit : "Quand tu lâches tes chiens dressés et qu’ils attrapent une proie pour toi, alors mange." J’ai dit : "Même s’ils la tuent ?" Il a dit : "Tant qu’aucun autre chien ne s’est joint à eux." J’ai dit : "Je tire avec le Mirad. Et il pénètre la proie." Il a dit : "S’il la pénètre, alors mange, mais si c’est le côté large qui la frappe, alors ne mange pas
