Sunan an-Nasa'i, 4035

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:"Some Bedouin from 'Uraynah came to the Prophet of Allah [SAW] and accepted Islam, but the climate of Al-Madinah did not suit them; their skin turned yellow and their bellies became swollen. The Prophet of Allah sent them to some milk camels of his and told them to drink their milk and urine until they recovered. Then they killed their herdsmen and drove off the camels. The Prophet of Allah sent (men) after them and they were brought back, then he had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes were branded." The Commander of the Believers, 'Abdul-Malik, said to Anas, when he was narrating this Hadith: "Was that (punishment) for Kufr or for sin?" He said: "For Kufr

Rapporté par Anas ibn Malik : Des Bédouins de ‘Uraynah sont venus au Prophète d’Allah ﷺ et ont accepté l’islam, mais le climat de Médine ne leur convenait pas ; leur peau est devenue jaune et leur ventre gonflé. Le Prophète d’Allah ﷺ les a envoyés auprès de ses chamelles laitières et leur a dit de boire leur lait et leur urine jusqu’à ce qu’ils guérissent. Ensuite, ils ont tué leurs bergers et emmené les chameaux. Le Prophète d’Allah ﷺ a envoyé des hommes à leur poursuite, ils ont été ramenés, puis il leur a fait couper les mains et les pieds, et marquer les yeux au fer. Le Commandeur des Croyants, ‘Abdul-Malik, a demandé à Anas, alors qu’il racontait ce hadith : « Cette punition était-elle pour la mécréance ou pour un péché ? » Il a répondu : « Pour la mécréance. »
