Sunan an-Nasa'i, 3675

It was narrated from Bashir bin Sa'd that he brought An-Nu'man to the Prophet and said:"I want to give this son of mine a slave as a present, and if you think that I should go ahead with it, I will go ahead." The Messenger of Allah said: "Have you given a present to all your children?" He said: "No." He said: "Then take (your present) back

Rapporté par Bashir bin Sa'd : Il a amené An-Nu'man auprès du Prophète et a dit : "Je veux offrir un esclave à mon fils en cadeau, et si tu penses que je dois le faire, je le ferai." Le Messager d'Allah a dit : "As-tu offert un cadeau à tous tes enfants ?" Il a répondu : "Non." Le Prophète a dit : "Alors reprends ton cadeau
