Sunan an-Nasa'i, 3653

It was narrated that Ash-Sharid bin Suwaid Ath-Thaqafi said:"I came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'My mother left a will saying that a slave should be freed on her behalf. I have a Nubian slave girl; will it suffice if I free her on her behalf?' He said: 'Bring her here.' The Prophet said to her: 'Who is your Lord?' She said: 'Allah.' He said: 'Who am I?' She said: 'The Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Set her free , for she is a believer

Rapporté par Ash-Sharid bin Suwaid Ath-Thaqafi : Je suis venu voir le Messager d'Allah ﷺ et j'ai dit : « Ma mère a laissé un testament disant qu'un esclave devait être affranchi pour elle. J'ai une esclave nubienne ; est-ce suffisant si je l'affranchis pour elle ? » Il a dit : « Amène-la ici. » Le Prophète ﷺ lui a demandé : « Qui est ton Seigneur ? » Elle a répondu : « Allah. » Il a dit : « Qui suis-je ? » Elle a répondu : « Le Messager d'Allah. » Il a dit : « Libère-la, car c'est une croyante. »
