Sunan an-Nasa'i, 3152

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, were it not that some men among the believers would not like to stay behind when I went out (to fight), and I could not find any mounts for them, I would not have stayed behind from any campaign that fought in the cause of Allah. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I wish that I could be killed in the cause of Allah, then brought back to life, then killed, then be brought back to life, then killed

Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire : « Par Celui qui détient mon âme dans Sa main, si ce n’était pas que certains croyants n’aimeraient pas rester en arrière quand je pars (au combat), et si je ne pouvais pas leur trouver de montures, je ne serais jamais resté en arrière d’aucune expédition menée dans la voie d’Allah. Par Celui qui détient mon âme dans Sa main, j’aimerais pouvoir être tué dans la voie d’Allah, puis revenir à la vie, puis être tué de nouveau, puis revenir à la vie, puis être tué encore. »
