Sunan an-Nasa'i, 3105

It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said:"O Messenger of Allah! Which of the people is best?" He said: "One who strives with himself and his wealth in the cause of Allah." He said: "Then who, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Then a believer (isolating himself) in one of the mountain passes, who fears Allah and spares the people his evil

Rapporté par Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri : Un homme est venu voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et lui a demandé : « Ô Messager d’Allah ! Qui est la meilleure personne ? » Il a répondu : « Celui qui lutte avec lui-même et ses biens pour la cause d’Allah. » Il a demandé : « Et après lui, ô Messager d’Allah ? » Il a dit : « Ensuite, un croyant qui se retire dans un col de montagne, qui craint Allah et ne fait de mal à personne. »
