Abdur-Rahman bin Yazid said:"I sqa Ibn Masud stone Jamratul 'Aqabah from the bottom of the valley, then he said: ;This - by the One beside Whom there is no other God-is the place where the one to whom Surat Al-Baqarah was revealed stood

Rapporté par Abdur-Rahman bin Yazid : J’ai vu Ibn Masud lapider Jamratul Aqabah depuis le bas de la vallée, puis il a dit : « C’est ici – par Celui en dehors de Qui il n’y a pas d’autre dieu – que celui à qui la sourate Al-Baqarah a été révélée s’est tenu. »
