Sunan an-Nasa'i, 3054

Jafar bin Muhamad narrated that hi father said:"We enterd upon Jabir bin Abdullah and I said: "Tell me about the Hajj of the Prophet.' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah moved on from Al-Muzadalifah before the sun rose, and Al-Fadl bin Abbas rode behind him. When he came to Muhassir he sped up a little, then he follwed the middle road that brings you out at the largest Jamrat. When he came to the Jamrat whichis by the tree, he threw seven pebbles, saying the Takbir with each one, (using) pebbles the size of the date stones of fingertips, and he threw from the bottom of the valley

Rapporté par Jafar bin Muhammad, d’après son père : Nous sommes allés voir Jabir bin Abdullah et j’ai dit : « Parle-moi du Hajj du Prophète. » Il a dit : « Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est parti d’Al-Muzdalifah avant le lever du soleil, et Al-Fadl bin Abbas était assis derrière lui. Quand il est arrivé à Muhassir, il a accéléré un peu, puis il a suivi la route du milieu qui mène à la plus grande Jamrat. Arrivé à la Jamrat près de l’arbre, il a lancé sept cailloux en disant le Takbir à chaque fois, avec des cailloux de la taille de noyaux de dattes ou du bout des doigts, et il les a lancés depuis le bas de la vallée. »
