Sunan an-Nasa'i, 291

Ja'far bin Muhammad said:"My father told me: 'We cam to jabir bin 'Abdullah and asked him about the hajj of the prophet (ﷺ). He narrated: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) set out when there were five (days) remaining in Dhul-Qa'dah, and we set out with him. When he came to Dhul-Hulaifah, Asma' bint 'Umais gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr. She sent word to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asking what she should do. He said: 'Perform Ghusl, bind yourself with a cloth then begin (the Talbiyah for Ihram)

Rapporté par Ja'far bin Muhammad : Mon père m'a dit : "Nous sommes allés voir Jabir bin 'Abdullah et nous lui avons demandé comment le Prophète (ﷺ) avait fait le Hajj. Il a raconté : 'Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) est parti alors qu'il restait cinq jours de Dhul-Qa'dah, et nous sommes partis avec lui. Quand il est arrivé à Dhul-Hulaifah, Asma' bint 'Umais a donné naissance à Muhammad bin Abi Bakr. Elle a envoyé demander au Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) ce qu'elle devait faire.
