Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2901

It was narrated that Aishah said:"The Messenger of Allah said: "Were it not for the fact that your people have recently left disbelief, I would have knocked down the House and rebuilt it on the foundation of Ibrahim, peace be upon him, and I would have given it a back door. For when the Quraish built the House, they made it too small

Rapporté par Aishah رضي الله عنها : Le Messager d’Allah a dit : "Si ce n’était pas parce que ton peuple vient de quitter la mécréance, j’aurais démoli la Maison et je l’aurais reconstruite sur les fondations d’Ibrahim, paix sur lui, et j’y aurais ajouté une porte à l’arrière. Car lorsque les Quraysh ont construit la Maison, ils l’ont rendue trop petite
